Coconut “Pol” Sambol3rd August, 2018
Ingredients you will need
- 1 grated coconut
- 50g slice red onions
- 5g green chili
- 10g garlic
- 20g chili pieces
- 1 lime juiced
- Black peppercorns
- 10g Maldives fish (dried and cured fish)
Mix the Maldives fish, chili flakes, garlic, salt and black pepper in a mortar. Using the pestle to pound everything for 1 minute.
Add chopped onions and pound again until the onions turn mushy and well blended with chili mixture about 5 minutes.
Add freshly grated coconut, salt and lime juice mixed well together.
